Welcome to the Early Bird Savings Club, where it’s never too early to learn how to save and handle money!

UNITED SA members between the ages of five and 12 are automatically members of the club. Anyone in this age group who is eligible for membership can also take advantage of club benefits.

To join, simply open a savings account in the child’s name with a minimum opening deposit of $5.00 to start earning dividends. Upon opening, the child will receive a personalized membership card and a welcome postcard to follow in the mail. Club members also receive a quarterly newsletter in their statement with fun games and facts about money and saving.

With each deposit of $5.00 or more made in person at a UNITED SA location, the child can take his deposit receipt to the receptionist and choose a prize from the Eagle’s Nest.

In addition, club members earn one Eagle Buck for each $10.00 in deposits with a limit of three Eagle Bucks per day. The child must be present for each deposit made in person at a UNITED SA location in order to earn Eagle Bucks.

Eagle Bucks are redeemable at any UNITED SA location for cool prizes:

NOTE:

In order to receive Eagle Bucks, deposits must be made in person with the child present. Any checks for deposit must be made payable to the child in order to be eligible for Eagle Bucks. Automatic deposits (direct deposit, ACH credits) to an Early Bird Savings Account are not eligible.
