Transmittal of Electronic Statements
By clicking on the “I Accept” button below and by electing to receive your statements electronically in the manner set forth in the UNITED SA E-Statement Procedure (the “Procedures”) in question and answer format, you agree to accept your UNITED SA Federal Credit Union periodic statements, and all disclosures related to your statements, electronically by a visual text to be displayed on a personal computer monitor or online access device. You request that the credit union transmit your statement to you electronically, and you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
You acknowledge that you will be able to retrieve your statements electronically through the use of a personal identification number (PIN). You acknowledge that, if you disclose your PIN to anyone else or if your PIN is lost or stolen, third parties may be able to access your credit union statements. You agree that the credit union will not be liable for any loss caused by the authorized or unauthorized use of your PIN by any third party to access your statements. You agree to keep your PIN in a place of safekeeping, and you agree that the security of your PIN will be your responsibility at all times. You agree to the security methods and techniques set out in the Procedures. You agree that the credit union will not be liable for any loss arising out of your use of UNITED SA Federal Credit Union’s E-Statement if the credit union observes the security method presently set out in the Procedures, or as amended from time to time. Further, you agree that the credit union will not be liable for any loss arising out of your use of UNITED SA Federal Credit Union’s E-Statement under any circumstances if you fail to observe the Procedures and the recommendations set forth in the Procedures.
Q: Will I receive notification when my statement is available?
A: Yes. You will receive an e-mail notification that your statement is ready to view if you supplied the correct e-mail address. If you change your e-mail address, you must notify UNITED SA Federal Credit Union of the change to continue receiving statement notifications.
Q: How will I view my statement?
A: Open your e-mail notification and click on the E-Teller Login link. Login to E-Teller, click on the "Services" menu option, then click on the "View Statements" link. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the statement.
Q: What if I don’t have Adobe Acrobat Reader?
A: Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software that you can download from the E-Statement notification page. Click on the link to download Adobe Acrobat.
Q: How will I receive the advertising inserts that came with my printed statements such as the Cache newsletter?
A: There is a link to the inserts in your E-Statement E-mail Notification. Clicking on the link will take you to our Online Services page at www.unitedsafcu.org.
Q: How do I change my e-mail address?
A: You may update your e-mail address when logged on to E-Teller by clicking on the “User Profile" menu tab and then clicking on "Manage E-mails." You may also contact the Call Center during regular business hours at (210) 561-4500, toll-free at (800) 531-8456 or in person at any UNITED SA Federal Credit Union location during regular business hours.
Q: What if I lose or forget my PIN?
A: Contact the Call Center during regular business hours at (210) 561-4500 or 1-800-531-8456 to request a new PIN.
Q: How is the integrity of my data maintained using Internet access with SSL protocol?
A: The UNITED SA E-Statement uses the latest Internet security technology and techniques to help ensure that your statement information is as secure as possible. These techniques include user authentication, data encryption and the use of secure servers, which are designed to keep out potential intruders. The UNITED SA E-Statement uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt sensitive data prior to transmission over the Internet so it is protected from anyone attempting to read it in transit.
Q: Can I receive a printed statement if my computer isn’t working?
A: Yes, you may request a printed statement by contacting the Call Center at (210) 561-4500 or toll-free at (800) 531-8456.
You acknowledge and agree that, by requesting your statements to be delivered electronically, you will not receive paper statements. You acknowledge and agree that if the credit union in its judgment believes that the transmission of your statement electronically is no longer viable, or that any such transmission may give rise to security or operational concerns, the credit union may cease the electronic delivery of your statements and provide you with paper statements in lieu thereof.
You acknowledge and agree that you have read and you understand the Procedures set out, that any e-mail address you provide to the credit union is accurate, that you will promptly notify the credit union of any change in your e-mail address in the manner prescribed in the Procedures, that you have a computer that meets minimum system requirements and that you have a printer or access to a printer with the ability to download information in order to keep copies of your statement for your records.
