UNITED SA® Federal Credit Union offers overdraft protection with a Checking Account in the form of a Line Of Credit loan, transfers from your Savings Account or Overdraft Privilege.
Transfers from the Line Of Credit loan will be governed by the applicable loan agreement and the advances shall not exceed the maximum limit of the Line Of Credit loan.
Transfers from the Savings Account will be in amounts neccessary to pay checks. The first two (2) transfers per calendar month are free. A $2 charge for each additional transfer will be assessed thereafter. SAVINGS ACCOUNT OVERDRAFT TRANSFERS WILL ONLY OCCUR IF THE FULL CHECK AMOUNT PLUS THE $2 FEE ARE AVAILABLE.

Overdraft Privilege is a convenient and valuable service available to all checking accounts in good standing. New members in good standing are eligible for this service after 60 days.
Overdraft Privilege Benefits:
- This service automatically pays overdrafts, which eliminates bounced checks and returned check charges from merchants;

When faced with unexpected bills, Overdraft Privilege is convenient and dependable;

The credit union will activate this service for you; and

There is no cost if you don’t use it.
